Note on the position and organization of the Engineering Club in the 1930s

The present article seeks to make some notes about the organization and performance of the Engineering Club during the 1930s. Since the institution is an important organizer of class fractions, a fact noticed since its foundation, it is necessary to deepen the analysis of the first years of the Vargas Government, a moment marked by industrial growth. For this, we sought to add to the study the Engineering Club, pointing out its reorganization in its board of directors; the structural changes within its Magazine and its technical-political positioning in the face of the New Stade.
