Scope and Details

The Health and Diversity Journal  (ISSN 2526-7914) is a peer-reviewed annual journal, with interdisciplinary character, that accepts articles submission of Original Articles, Reviews/Overviews, Short Communications, Technical Notes, Experience Report and Pop Science with high quality research in different areas of Sciences of Health, not submitted for other journal. All manuscripts are submitted and reviewed electronically.

Free Access Policy

The Health and Diversity Journal offers free and immediate access to online edition, following the principle that sharing of the articles free of charge to the public provides greater democratization and breadth of knowledge.

Peer Review Process

The review process involves two steps, in the first one the contributions submitted to the HD Journal are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief to determine if the content of the submitted manuscript is appropriate for the scope of the journal and if the manuscript merits peer review. After the initial screening, the second one is carried out by three reviewers based on their expertise in relevant scientific disciplines and research areas. For especial issues, a Guest Editor (GE) may be invited. The peer review process takes up to about three months to complete.

Use a similarity detection software, such as CopySpider or Turnitin to check for plagiarism, afterwards you must download it and submit to this journal. A similarity of over 3% must be corrected or justified in a separate document.

Publication frequency

Health and Diversity Journal (ISSN 2526-7914) has continuous flow, publishing one volume per year.

Description

Published and hosted by the Federal University of Roraima, the Health and Diversity Journal was the first international and interdisciplinary journal dedicated to health in the Northern of Brazil. Among several scientific topics, diversity in health was always the key topic.
