Becauseitissopresentinourdailylives,music often attracts the attention of listeners, mobilizing heartsandminds,whichiswhyitcanbeanimportanttoolinHistoryclasses.Classroomdebates areenrichedwhenwebringthishistoricalsourcetobeanothermagnifyingglassinour investigationswithstudents.Basedonthispremise,inthisarticlewewillthinkabouthowthe Brazilian rock madeinthe1980s,BRock,canbeusedtoexpand our views on the end of the Civil MilitaryDictatorshipinBrazil.Wewillthinkofmusicherenotjustaslyrics,realizingthatmore thanaformofexpression,itisanimportantsocialforcethatisusedbygroupsbasedontheir various grammars.
