Abstract

Health and Diversity Journal (HDJ) is a Brazilian continuous-flow interdisciplinary journal that accepts submissions of high-quality Original Scientific Articles, Reviews, Rapid Communications, Technical Notes, Case Reports, and Letters to the Editor in various fields of Health Sciences, provided that they have not already been submitted to another journal.

HDJ editorial team members organized the I Symposium on Health and Diversity in the Amazon: 8 Years of Innovation, Inclusion, and Knowledge Production in collaboration with CCS, PPGSBio, and PROCISA to promote its scientific work. As part of this event, relevant and innovative topics were discussed across a wide range of health fields, knowledge was shared, experiences were exchanged among professionals and researchers, and scientific advancements were highlighted.

This symposium provided an opportunity for disseminating the journal's work by presenting its achievements over its eight years of existence, as well as to share research and scientific advancements with academic and professional communities, thereby increasing scientific knowledge.

This journal is affiliated with the Health Science Center (CCS) and Programs in Graduate Health and Biodiversity (PPGSBio) and Health Sciences (PROCISA), and has been on the OJS platform since 2022.
