Brazil's dependence on events external to its economy led government leaders to debate new economic development policies for the country. However, the North Region, due to the specificities of location, size and other natural challenges, was not contemplated by the advances of the first development plans that followed. Only in the 1960s and 1970s, made possible by tax incentive laws and integration actions carried out through the agreement between the Federal Government and the Armed Forces, was the Amazon able to attract investments and reach new national and international markets. It should be noted that as a result of the growth of commercial businesses in the Amazon, the military logistics used in this process allowed the emergence of aspects such as business logistics. However, there are still huge obstacles with regard to the infrastructure of business logistics in the North Region, so that freight logistics costs are considerably higher when compared to other regions of Brazil. In this sense, in addition to the bibliographical context, this article took into account the case study carried out by the startup from Roraima, Moving Services Brasil LTDA (acting in the logistics field). The research presented the logistical bottlenecks and the new ways found to overcome them, in order to democratize freight costs for the region in question.
