Abstract

Tourism aims to meet several basic needs and secondary, in the case of a voluntary manifestation arising from temporary human displacement. This study aimed to identify the profile of the tourist state of Roraima, identify levels of satisfaction of tourists, check the motivations for tourism. For these goals to be achieved was a questionnaire based on Martins (2006) with adaptations, which was answered by 246 tourists, which existed residents of the 5 regions of Brazil and the 2 countries that are neighbors Venezuela and British Guiana. Most are 35-50 years old, female, already have a university degree, and has gross monthly income of R $ 2,001.00 to R $ 3,500.00. Be identified to the satisfaction of the tourists realize that they are satisfied with the environment and culture. However, since the services, entertainment and infrastructure need improvement. Have to check the motivations for tourism, it is clear that any free time, many people look for reasons to get out of the routine day-to-day travel to unwind, enjoy with family, seeking variety, different things, also traveling for education, for personal growth, getting to know other cultures, peoples, different things everyday of each. Data analysis was done by descriptive statistics and factor analysis reductive, which reduced all factors proposed, to a more centralized way of working with a smaller number of variables. After all the analysis, it is clear that problems should be solved, due to the dissatisfaction of tourists in order to promote improvements to blocks of services, entertainment and infrastructure that are essential to the practice of tourism and residents themselves the state.
