Wind energy stands out as one of the fastest-growing sources of renewable electricity worldwide. However, the end-of-life phase of wind turbine blades presents a significant challenge, as improper disposal can lead to severe environmental impacts, such as chemical contamination and soil degradation. This study provides a detailed analysis of the available strategies for the environmentally sound management of wind turbine blades, with a focus on recycling and reuse methods. Implementing these practices not only mitigates environmental impacts but also reduces the consumption of virgin raw materials, fostering a more sustainable approach within the wind energy sector.
