Rigid pavement has high rigidity and resistance to flexion of the plates, due to its constant thickness. To ensure satisfactory operation of the pavement, it is essential to monitor the occurrence of defects permanently, in addition to monitoring their evolution over time. In this regard, the study evaluated the stretch of state highway BA-826, identifying pathologies and their possible causes, in addition to evaluating the Pavement Condition Index (ICP) according to DNIT 063/2004 standard. Surface wear, joint failures, cracks and potholes were verified, resulting from lack of maintenance, excessive loads and high temperatures. The subjective evaluation was carried out by three evaluators and two different vehicles, obtaining an ICP of 30.7 for the MOBI and 38.3 for the S10, resulting in an overall ICP of 34.5, classifying the pavement in “poor condition”. This result highlights the need for immediate repairs and planned maintenance, to ensure greater safety and comfort in the analyzed location.
