Abstract

This work aims to contribute to the teaching and learning process by proposing an educational product through activities involving homemade rockets that arouse students' interest in scientific knowledge. The research focuses on identifying the ideal profile of a homemade rocket that achieves a wide horizontal range in stable flight, conducted through experiments involving a launch base made of metal and PVC tubes, rockets of various shapes with PET structures, and launches using a chemical reaction between baking soda and vinegar. Throughout the study, environmental, physical, and chemical phenomena are analyzed, as well as the influence of payload on flights. The conclusions point to benefits in teaching Natural Sciences and Mathematics, offering an experience that contextualizes theory in a practical and stimulating way.
