Abstract

This paper analyzes the process of casualization of medical work by outsourcing the Cooperativa Brasileira de Trabalho Múltiplos de Saúde (Coopebras) by the Government of the State of Roraima. The possibility of outsourcing Cooperatives arises due to the introduction in the Consolidação das Leis Trabalhistas (CLT) of paragraph one of Article 442, which defines the member of the cooperative have no employment or with the cooperative, or the policyholder service. So with the research conducted in the cooperative grounded in qualitative-quantitative method, it was possible to verify the applicability of the thought of several authors regarding the use of cooperatives as a way to reduce costs and precarious work of the cooperative. For the contract to Coopebras, the Government of Roraima State has the obligation to pay workers' rights as overtime, paid holidays and 13th month pay to the cooperative.
