Abstract

About the importance of agriculture to the country, farmers hold a significant number in the production of the field and in the northern region of Brazil is no different. The quality of life for farmers is related to their rural credit available by the federal government's National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (PRONAF) and the government of Roraima State Fund for Economic and Social Development of the State of Roraima / Promotion Agency of the State Roraima (Funder / AFERR), the technology employed in the field nationwide is supported by the Brazilian agricultural Research Corporation - (EMBRAPA) and labor whose characterization is essentially familiar, but not as pits family farmers if there is a number lower labor unfamiliar. Used as the case study method, using statistical studies, can be analyzed the information collected to yield results that can be measured quality of life of farmers in the Amazon region, but specific in the city of Mucajaí. It is noted how important is the need to study the quality of life of family farmers, as can be seen that most of them are illiterate, many do not receive technical assistance and know little about the rural credit lines and has difficulties because of acquisition requirements.
