Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the cooperative COOPERCARNE (Agricultural Cooperative Roraima). This research has a theoretical and methodological nature qualitative, exploratory through a questionnaire, which yielded the following results: Of the 12 cooperative respondents, 06 and upper level have little knowledge about the cooperative; 8 of cooperative does not have a commitment to cooperative transferring its production to marchers and markets; cooperative members have 03-10 years in cooperative and present themselves as large traders of beef in the state. Still, many prefer to provide beef via marchers, a fact that generates weakness towards the cooperative in question.
