Abstract

This study aims to address about the Technology Incubator of Popular Cooperatives and Solidarity Ventures (ITCPES) of UFRR in supporting and fostering the inclusion of a social cooperative in the competitive market of Boa Vista, the RR. The case arose from the perspective of understanding the role of University Incubator in the context of Cooperatives popular. Thus, the main objective of the study was to describe and understand the role of ITCPES / UFRR along to popular Cooperatives. Seized by the results it was possible to demonstrate the importance of ITCPES / UFRR for new ventures, especially those who have no objective conditions to form a productive unit. Were used in developing bibliographies of authors such as Grid and Pereira (2010), Nativity (2011), Pereira (2011) and Veras Neto (2010), who described with other authors on the context Incubator. The methodology used was the literature and a case study through field work, using interviews focused on coordinating ITCPES / UFRR. It was concluded that the ITCPES / UFRR has an important role in helping the Cooperatives popular. The results were, among many, improving people's incomes through collective work. It was also found that incubator operates under the principles of Solidarity Economy aimed at increasing the social.
